Why did the airfare increase while I was completing my booking?
The airfares of a specific route listed on FareOprice are dynamic and subject to change without prior notice. The airlines' airfares change as per the demand and supply of your destination and are volatile. If the selected seats that you chose or our agent chooses on your behalf get sold out during the booking process, the airline suppliers assign a different class of service. This process may lead to an increase in airfare during the booking process. We monitor the airfares regularly and try to update them in real time. However, we are not liable for any discrepancies in the same.
Are the airfares that I book guaranteed during the booking process?
All displayed airfares may change without prior notice depending on the demand and supply matrix, as stated above. FareOprice does not guarantee the airfare until you complete the payment and an e-ticket is issued. As an online travel agency that booked your flight tickets, we have the right to inform you about the updated airfare of the booked itinerary in 3 business days in case of a technical glitch or the displayed airfare is not updated on our website. You have the choice to accept or deny the updated fare. You may cancel the booking with a full refund deducting our service fee.
How to initiate a change to an already booked flight ticket?
Making changes to the flight ticket is not permissible on FareOprice. Our flight experts suggest you verify all the passenger information and details before confirming and reserving the flight ticket. The passenger is liable to ensure the mentioned information and details on the booking confirmation email are accurate and error-free. We are not liable to process any changes to it.
Will I be charged an additional fee to change flight tickets?
If you want to initiate changes to an existing booking made on FareOprice, we levy extra charges to process it. Our flight experts guide you through the entire process, and an additional service charge applies. It is an overhead charge to the fare difference and airline taxes. We recommend you go through the Taxes & Fees section of FareOprice before confirming the booking.
Are the flight tickets I book on FareOprice inclusive of all the taxes?
FareOprice implements the New Airline Passenger Protection Rules of the U.S. Department of Transportation. We confirm that the displayed airfares and baggage fees include all the taxes and fees as applicable according to the laws.
Do I carry a printed ticket or an e-ticket for my flight bookings?
You will receive a notification to carry an e-ticket or printed ticket when you book. We inform you within 24 hours of your booking if there are any changes to your booked flight itinerary. If your booked itinerary has multiple airlines, we suggest you carry a printed ticket for the complete trip and all airlines.
Am I allowed to add a passenger to an existing booking on FareOprice?
You can not add a new passenger to an already existing booking. You must make a fresh booking for the new passenger. Additionally, you are liable to pay the airfare difference, and we cannot guarantee flight availability or the same airfare as the initial booking, as they are subject to change.
How do I get the reservation confirmation?
We advise you to contact the airlines directly 72 hours before the scheduled departure. It is mandatory to confirm your reservation.
What documents do I need to make a flight booking on FareOprice?
The documentation requirement may change depending on several factors. It includes departure, arrival, transit flights, and more. We advise you to contact the airlines directly to confirm the right set of documents. Please ensure the information on the booking processing email is accurate. FareOprice holds no responsibility for you reaching the airport with insufficient documents leading to denied boarding on the flight.

FareOprice Hotels FAQs

For any hotel reservations made on FareOprice, when do I receive the confirmation stay voucher?
On booking your stay in a hotel with FareOprice, we send you an email of Booking Under Process and assign your query a booking reference ID. Once you receive the booking reference IF, you will receive your hotel stay vouchers within 24 - 48 hours from the booking time. The 1st email from FareOprice is a communication to convey that we received your booking and our travel advisor will now begin to work on it.
How to add a guest to an existing hotel booking made on FareOprice?
The hotel booking process is different from flights, and unlike flights, we may add a guest to your existing booking ID. However, the bookings are subject to availability and the hotel's policy. If you want to add a new guest to your booking, call us at our contact number or make a fresh booking on the website.
The hotel management is asking for an additional amount compared to the one mentioned on my stay voucher. What should I do now?
There are some charges that the hotel may seek apart from the booking amount paid. The charges are known as hotel/resort fees paid at the property. In some cities, the government also levies a tax, and you must pay that at checkout. Apart from these charges, they must honor the tariff quoted while booking. You must carry the printed copy of your payment receipt as evidence so that they may rectify the additional charges.
What is the process of canceling a hotel booking made on FareOprice?
For canceling a hotel booking on FareOprice, please reach out to our customer care and your dedicated travel advisor. They process your cancelation request and inform you regarding the hotel cancelation policy. You are required to pay a service fee to cancel your booking along with the cancelation charges of the hotel. Please read our Terms & Conditions to know more about the hotel cancelation process.
Why is it necessary to make an immediate payment for an online hotel booking?
We require your credit/ debit card details to confirm your booking. The hotel tariff is debited from your account, and we send the same to the hotel to hold your booking. In addition to this, we charge our service fee and taxes to complete the booking and share your stay voucher with you.
I am facing issues at the time of check-in. What should I do?
We suggest that you must take your booking confirmation email and stay vouchers with you at the time of check-in. Sometimes some properties overbook the rooms. In this case, they are obligated to give you another property at comparable prices and a private transfer to reach the property after seeking your permission.
How to change the hotel booking dates?
If you want to incorporate date changes on your hotel bookings, you must reach out to your dedicated travel advisor. The changes like the name change, date change, change in room type, etc., are at the sole discretion of the hotel and subject to availability. Your travel advisor will share your request to change with the hotel at a service fee, and the final changes are up to the hotel's policies.
I called the hotel to confirm my booking. They do not have my reservation details. What to do?
We send the hotel your particulars like the name and other personal details 72-hours before the date of check-in. We do this to protect your data. You must not worry about your booking as it is secure. Our team will confirm and ensure your booking details have reached the hotel 3-pays before the scheduled check-in date.
Can you confirm my special requests made at the time of hotel booking?
For any requests made during the hotel bookings, they are considered as requests only and cannot be confirmed. Our travel advisor shares your request with the booked hotel but confirming it is completely up to the hotel's discretion. As a gesture of hospitality, most of the properties honor the requests made by the customer. In some cases, they may not consider it due to unavailability. FareOprice has no control over the special requests.
